CVE-2022-42328 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2023-01-10 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
Guests can trigger deadlock in Linux netback driver T[his CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] The patch for XSA-392 introduced another issue which might result in a deadlock when trying to free the SKB of a packet dropped due to the XSA-392 handling (CVE-2022-42328). Additionally when dropping packages for other reasons the same deadlock could occur in case of netpoll being active for the interface the xen-netback driver is connected to (CVE-2022-42329).
CVE-2022-42329 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2023-01-10 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM

CVE-2021-37533 2 Apache, Debian 2 Commons Net, Debian Linux 2023-01-10 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
Prior to Apache Commons Net 3.9.0, Net's FTP client trusts the host from PASV response by default. A malicious server can redirect the Commons Net code to use a different host, but the user has to connect to the malicious server in the first place. This may lead to leakage of information about services running on the private network of the client. The default in version 3.9.0 is now false to ignore such hosts, as cURL does. See https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NET-711.
CVE-2020-28609 2 Cgal, Debian 2 Computational Geometry Algorithms Library, Debian Linux 2023-01-09 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Multiple code execution vulnerabilities exists in the Nef polygon-parsing functionality of CGAL libcgal CGAL-5.1.1. A specially crafted malformed file can lead to an out-of-bounds read and type confusion, which could lead to code execution. An attacker can provide malicious input to trigger any of these vulnerabilities. An oob read vulnerability exists in Nef_2/PM_io_parser.h PM_io_parser<PMDEC>::read_face() store_iv().
CVE-2020-36331 5 Apple, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 6 Ipados, Iphone Os, Debian Linux and 3 more 2023-01-09 6.4 MEDIUM 9.1 CRITICAL
A flaw was found in libwebp in versions before 1.0.1. An out-of-bounds read was found in function ChunkAssignData. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and to the service availability.
CVE-2020-36328 5 Apple, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 6 Ipados, Iphone Os, Debian Linux and 3 more 2023-01-09 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
A flaw was found in libwebp in versions before 1.0.1. A heap-based buffer overflow in function WebPDecodeRGBInto is possible due to an invalid check for buffer size. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
CVE-2020-36329 5 Apple, Debian, Netapp and 2 more 6 Ipados, Iphone Os, Debian Linux and 3 more 2023-01-09 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
A flaw was found in libwebp in versions before 1.0.1. A use-after-free was found due to a thread being killed too early. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
CVE-2022-4515 2 Debian, Exuberant Ctags Project 2 Debian Linux, Exuberant Ctags 2023-01-03 N/A 7.8 HIGH
A flaw was found in Exuberant Ctags in the way it handles the "-o" option. This option specifies the tag filename. A crafted tag filename specified in the command line or in the configuration file results in arbitrary command execution because the externalSortTags() in sort.c calls the system(3) function in an unsafe way.
CVE-2021-3748 5 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 3 more 2023-01-03 6.9 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in the virtio-net device of QEMU. It could occur when the descriptor's address belongs to the non direct access region, due to num_buffers being set after the virtqueue elem has been unmapped. A malicious guest could use this flaw to crash QEMU, resulting in a denial of service condition, or potentially execute code on the host with the privileges of the QEMU process.
CVE-2022-26966 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp 17 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager and 14 more 2022-12-22 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel before 5.16.12. drivers/net/usb/sr9700.c allows attackers to obtain sensitive information from heap memory via crafted frame lengths from a device.
CVE-2019-3467 3 Canonical, Debian, Skolelinux 4 Ubuntu Linux, Debian-lan-config, Debian Linux and 1 more 2022-12-22 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
Debian-edu-config all versions < 2.11.10, a set of configuration files used for Debian Edu, and debian-lan-config < 0.26, configured too permissive ACLs for the Kerberos admin server, which allowed password changes for other Kerberos user principals.
CVE-2021-32491 2 Debian, Djvulibre Project 2 Debian Linux, Djvulibre 2022-12-21 6.8 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
A flaw was found in djvulibre-3.5.28 and earlier. An integer overflow in function render() in tools/ddjvu via crafted djvu file may lead to application crash and other consequences.
CVE-2021-3566 2 Debian, Ffmpeg 2 Debian Linux, Ffmpeg 2022-12-21 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
Prior to ffmpeg version 4.3, the tty demuxer did not have a 'read_probe' function assigned to it. By crafting a legitimate "ffconcat" file that references an image, followed by a file the triggers the tty demuxer, the contents of the second file will be copied into the output file verbatim (as long as the `-vcodec copy` option is passed to ffmpeg).
CVE-2021-3657 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isync Project and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Isync and 1 more 2022-12-21 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
A flaw was found in mbsync versions prior to 1.4.4. Due to inadequate handling of extremely large (>=2GiB) IMAP literals, malicious or compromised IMAP servers, and hypothetically even external email senders, could cause several different buffer overflows, which could conceivably be exploited for remote code execution.
CVE-2022-0534 2 Debian, Htmldoc Project 2 Debian Linux, Htmldoc 2022-12-21 4.3 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
A vulnerability was found in htmldoc version 1.9.15 where the stack out-of-bounds read takes place in gif_get_code() and occurs when opening a malicious GIF file, which can result in a crash (segmentation fault).
CVE-2021-32490 2 Debian, Djvulibre Project 2 Debian Linux, Djvulibre 2022-12-21 6.8 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
A flaw was found in djvulibre-3.5.28 and earlier. An out of bounds write in function DJVU::filter_bv() via crafted djvu file may lead to application crash and other consequences.
CVE-2021-32493 2 Debian, Djvulibre Project 2 Debian Linux, Djvulibre 2022-12-21 6.8 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
A flaw was found in djvulibre-3.5.28 and earlier. A heap buffer overflow in function DJVU::GBitmap::decode() via crafted djvu file may lead to application crash and other consequences.
CVE-2019-19966 4 Debian, Linux, Netapp and 1 more 13 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager and 10 more 2022-12-20 2.1 LOW 4.6 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel before 5.1.6, there is a use-after-free in cpia2_exit() in drivers/media/usb/cpia2/cpia2_v4l.c that will cause denial of service, aka CID-dea37a972655.
CVE-2015-5395 2 Alinto, Debian 2 Sogo, Debian Linux 2022-12-20 6.8 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in SOGo before 3.1.0.
CVE-2019-19922 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more 14 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 11 more 2022-12-14 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
kernel/sched/fair.c in the Linux kernel before 5.3.9, when cpu.cfs_quota_us is used (e.g., with Kubernetes), allows attackers to cause a denial of service against non-cpu-bound applications by generating a workload that triggers unwanted slice expiration, aka CID-de53fd7aedb1. (In other words, although this slice expiration would typically be seen with benign workloads, it is possible that an attacker could calculate how many stray requests are required to force an entire Kubernetes cluster into a low-performance state caused by slice expiration, and ensure that a DDoS attack sent that number of stray requests. An attack does not affect the stability of the kernel; it only causes mismanagement of application execution.)
