CVE-2010-4478 1 Openbsd 1 Openssh 2023-11-07 7.5 HIGH N/A
OpenSSH 5.6 and earlier, when J-PAKE is enabled, does not properly validate the public parameters in the J-PAKE protocol, which allows remote attackers to bypass the need for knowledge of the shared secret, and successfully authenticate, by sending crafted values in each round of the protocol, a related issue to CVE-2010-4252.
CVE-2009-0537 2 Microsoft, Openbsd 2 Interix, Openbsd 2023-11-07 4.9 MEDIUM N/A
Integer overflow in the fts_build function in fts.c in libc in (1) OpenBSD 4.4 and earlier and (2) Microsoft Interix 6.0 build 10.0.6030.0 allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (application crash) via a deep directory tree, related to the fts_level structure member, as demonstrated by (a) du, (b) rm, (c) chmod, and (d) chgrp on OpenBSD; and (e) SearchIndexer.exe on Vista Enterprise.
CVE-2008-1147 8 Apple, Cosmicperl, Darwin and 5 more 9 Mac Os X, Mac Os X Server, Directory Pro and 6 more 2023-11-07 6.8 MEDIUM N/A
A certain pseudo-random number generator (PRNG) algorithm that uses XOR and 2-bit random hops (aka "Algorithm X2"), as used in OpenBSD 2.6 through 3.4, Mac OS X 10 through 10.5.1, FreeBSD 4.4 through 7.0, and DragonFlyBSD 1.0 through 1.10.1, allows remote attackers to guess sensitive values such as IP fragmentation IDs by observing a sequence of previously generated values. NOTE: this issue can be leveraged for attacks such as injection into TCP packets and OS fingerprinting.
CVE-2007-6700 1 Openbsd 1 Openbsd 2023-11-07 4.3 MEDIUM N/A
Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in cgi-bin/bgplg in the web interface for the BGPD daemon in OpenBSD 4.1 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the cmd parameter.
CVE-2005-2666 1 Openbsd 1 Openssh 2023-11-07 1.2 LOW N/A
SSH, as implemented in OpenSSH before 4.0 and possibly other implementations, stores hostnames, IP addresses, and keys in plaintext in the known_hosts file, which makes it easier for an attacker that has compromised an SSH user's account to generate a list of additional targets that are more likely to have the same password or key.
CVE-2004-0492 5 Apache, Hp, Ibm and 2 more 7 Http Server, Virtualvault, Vvos and 4 more 2023-11-07 10.0 HIGH N/A
Heap-based buffer overflow in proxy_util.c for mod_proxy in Apache 1.3.25 to 1.3.31 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (process crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a negative Content-Length HTTP header field, which causes a large amount of data to be copied.
CVE-2000-0489 3 Freebsd, Netbsd, Openbsd 3 Freebsd, Netbsd, Openbsd 2023-11-07 2.1 LOW N/A
FreeBSD, NetBSD, and OpenBSD allow an attacker to cause a denial of service by creating a large number of socket pairs using the socketpair function, setting a large buffer size via setsockopt, then writing large buffers.
CVE-2023-35784 1 Openbsd 2 Libressl, Openbsd 2023-11-06 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
A double free or use after free could occur after SSL_clear in OpenBSD 7.2 before errata 026 and 7.3 before errata 004, and in LibreSSL before 3.6.3 and 3.7.x before 3.7.3. NOTE: OpenSSL is not affected.
CVE-2019-19726 1 Openbsd 1 Openbsd 2023-10-06 7.2 HIGH 7.8 HIGH
OpenBSD through 6.6 allows local users to escalate to root because a check for LD_LIBRARY_PATH in setuid programs can be defeated by setting a very small RLIMIT_DATA resource limit. When executing chpass or passwd (which are setuid root), _dl_setup_env in ld.so tries to strip LD_LIBRARY_PATH from the environment, but fails when it cannot allocate memory. Thus, the attacker is able to execute their own library code as root.
CVE-2023-38283 2 Openbgpd, Openbsd 2 Openbgpd, Openbsd 2023-09-07 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
In OpenBGPD before 8.1, incorrect handling of BGP update data (length of path attributes) set by a potentially distant remote actor may cause the system to incorrectly reset a session. This is fixed in OpenBSD 7.3 errata 006.
CVE-2023-40216 1 Openbsd 1 Openbsd 2023-08-23 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
OpenBSD 7.3 before errata 014 is missing an argument-count bounds check in console terminal emulation. This could cause incorrect memory access and a kernel crash after receiving crafted DCS or CSI terminal escape sequences.
CVE-2016-10009 1 Openbsd 1 Openssh 2023-07-20 7.5 HIGH 7.3 HIGH
Untrusted search path vulnerability in ssh-agent.c in ssh-agent in OpenSSH before 7.4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary local PKCS#11 modules by leveraging control over a forwarded agent-socket.
CVE-2021-46880 1 Openbsd 2 Libressl, Openbsd 2023-05-17 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
x509/x509_verify.c in LibreSSL before 3.4.2, and OpenBSD before 7.0 errata 006, allows authentication bypass because an error for an unverified certificate chain is sometimes discarded.
CVE-2022-48437 1 Openbsd 2 Libressl, Openbsd 2023-04-21 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in x509/x509_verify.c in LibreSSL before 3.6.1, and in OpenBSD before 7.2 errata 001. x509_verify_ctx_add_chain does not store errors that occur during leaf certificate verification, and therefore an incorrect error is returned. This behavior occurs when there is an installed verification callback that instructs the verifier to continue upon detecting an invalid certificate.
CVE-2023-27567 1 Openbsd 1 Openbsd 2023-04-06 N/A 7.5 HIGH
In OpenBSD 7.2, a TCP packet with destination port 0 that matches a pf divert-to rule can crash the kernel.
CVE-2019-14899 4 Apple, Freebsd, Linux and 1 more 8 Ipados, Iphone Os, Mac Os X and 5 more 2023-03-01 4.9 MEDIUM 7.4 HIGH
A vulnerability was discovered in Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, MacOS, iOS, and Android that allows a malicious access point, or an adjacent user, to determine if a connected user is using a VPN, make positive inferences about the websites they are visiting, and determine the correct sequence and acknowledgement numbers in use, allowing the bad actor to inject data into the TCP stream. This provides everything that is needed for an attacker to hijack active connections inside the VPN tunnel.
CVE-2019-16905 3 Netapp, Openbsd, Siemens 7 Cloud Backup, Steelstore Cloud Integrated Storage, Openssh and 4 more 2023-03-01 4.4 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
OpenSSH 7.7 through 7.9 and 8.x before 8.1, when compiled with an experimental key type, has a pre-authentication integer overflow if a client or server is configured to use a crafted XMSS key. This leads to memory corruption and local code execution because of an error in the XMSS key parsing algorithm. NOTE: the XMSS implementation is considered experimental in all released OpenSSH versions, and there is no supported way to enable it when building portable OpenSSH.
CVE-2019-6110 4 Netapp, Openbsd, Siemens and 1 more 9 Element Software, Ontap Select Deploy, Storage Automation Store and 6 more 2023-02-23 4.0 MEDIUM 6.8 MEDIUM
In OpenSSH 7.9, due to accepting and displaying arbitrary stderr output from the server, a malicious server (or Man-in-The-Middle attacker) can manipulate the client output, for example to use ANSI control codes to hide additional files being transferred.
CVE-2018-20685 9 Canonical, Debian, Fujitsu and 6 more 30 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, M10-1 and 27 more 2023-02-23 2.6 LOW 5.3 MEDIUM
In OpenSSH 7.9, scp.c in the scp client allows remote SSH servers to bypass intended access restrictions via the filename of . or an empty filename. The impact is modifying the permissions of the target directory on the client side.
CVE-2018-15473 7 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 4 more 24 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Aff Baseboard Management Controller and 21 more 2023-02-23 5.0 MEDIUM 5.3 MEDIUM
OpenSSH through 7.7 is prone to a user enumeration vulnerability due to not delaying bailout for an invalid authenticating user until after the packet containing the request has been fully parsed, related to auth2-gss.c, auth2-hostbased.c, and auth2-pubkey.c.
