| CVE-2021-3449 | 12 Checkpoint, Debian, Fedoraproject and 9 more | 167 Multi-domain Management, Multi-domain Management Firmware, Quantum Security Gateway and 164 more | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| An OpenSSL TLS server may crash if sent a maliciously crafted renegotiation ClientHello message from a client. If a TLSv1.2 renegotiation ClientHello omits the signature_algorithms extension (where it was present in the initial ClientHello), but includes a signature_algorithms_cert extension then a NULL pointer dereference will result, leading to a crash and a denial of service attack. A server is only vulnerable if it has TLSv1.2 and renegotiation enabled (which is the default configuration). OpenSSL TLS clients are not impacted by this issue. All OpenSSL 1.1.1 versions are affected by this issue. Users of these versions should upgrade to OpenSSL 1.1.1k. OpenSSL 1.0.2 is not impacted by this issue. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.1.1k (Affected 1.1.1-1.1.1j). | |||||
| CVE-2021-3426 | 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 3 more | 10 Debian Linux, Fedora, Cloud Backup and 7 more | 2023-11-07 | 2.7 LOW | 5.7 MEDIUM |
| There's a flaw in Python 3's pydoc. A local or adjacent attacker who discovers or is able to convince another local or adjacent user to start a pydoc server could access the server and use it to disclose sensitive information belonging to the other user that they would not normally be able to access. The highest risk of this flaw is to data confidentiality. This flaw affects Python versions before 3.8.9, Python versions before 3.9.3 and Python versions before 3.10.0a7. | |||||
| CVE-2021-3326 | 5 Debian, Fujitsu, Gnu and 2 more | 17 Debian Linux, M10-1, M10-1 Firmware and 14 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| The iconv function in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) 2.32 and earlier, when processing invalid input sequences in the ISO-2022-JP-3 encoding, fails an assertion in the code path and aborts the program, potentially resulting in a denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2021-3177 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more | 10 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 7 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Python 3.x through 3.9.1 has a buffer overflow in PyCArg_repr in _ctypes/callproc.c, which may lead to remote code execution in certain Python applications that accept floating-point numbers as untrusted input, as demonstrated by a 1e300 argument to c_double.from_param. This occurs because sprintf is used unsafely. | |||||
| CVE-2021-35942 | 3 Debian, Gnu, Netapp | 7 Debian Linux, Glibc, Active Iq Unified Manager and 4 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
| The wordexp function in the GNU C Library (aka glibc) through 2.33 may crash or read arbitrary memory in parse_param (in posix/wordexp.c) when called with an untrusted, crafted pattern, potentially resulting in a denial of service or disclosure of information. This occurs because atoi was used but strtoul should have been used to ensure correct calculations. | |||||
| CVE-2021-25217 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isc and 2 more | 26 Debian Linux, Fedora, Dhcp and 23 more | 2023-11-07 | 3.3 LOW | 7.4 HIGH |
| In ISC DHCP 4.1-ESV-R1 -> 4.1-ESV-R16, ISC DHCP 4.4.0 -> 4.4.2 (Other branches of ISC DHCP (i.e., releases in the 4.0.x series or lower and releases in the 4.3.x series) are beyond their End-of-Life (EOL) and no longer supported by ISC. From inspection it is clear that the defect is also present in releases from those series, but they have not been officially tested for the vulnerability), The outcome of encountering the defect while reading a lease that will trigger it varies, according to: the component being affected (i.e., dhclient or dhcpd) whether the package was built as a 32-bit or 64-bit binary whether the compiler flag -fstack-protection-strong was used when compiling In dhclient, ISC has not successfully reproduced the error on a 64-bit system. However, on a 32-bit system it is possible to cause dhclient to crash when reading an improper lease, which could cause network connectivity problems for an affected system due to the absence of a running DHCP client process. In dhcpd, when run in DHCPv4 or DHCPv6 mode: if the dhcpd server binary was built for a 32-bit architecture AND the -fstack-protection-strong flag was specified to the compiler, dhcpd may exit while parsing a lease file containing an objectionable lease, resulting in lack of service to clients. Additionally, the offending lease and the lease immediately following it in the lease database may be improperly deleted. if the dhcpd server binary was built for a 64-bit architecture OR if the -fstack-protection-strong compiler flag was NOT specified, the crash will not occur, but it is possible for the offending lease and the lease which immediately followed it to be improperly deleted. | |||||
| CVE-2021-23336 | 6 Debian, Djangoproject, Fedoraproject and 3 more | 12 Debian Linux, Django, Fedora and 9 more | 2023-11-07 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| The package python/cpython from 0 and before 3.6.13, from 3.7.0 and before 3.7.10, from 3.8.0 and before 3.8.8, from 3.9.0 and before 3.9.2 are vulnerable to Web Cache Poisoning via urllib.parse.parse_qsl and urllib.parse.parse_qs by using a vector called parameter cloaking. When the attacker can separate query parameters using a semicolon (;), they can cause a difference in the interpretation of the request between the proxy (running with default configuration) and the server. This can result in malicious requests being cached as completely safe ones, as the proxy would usually not see the semicolon as a separator, and therefore would not include it in a cache key of an unkeyed parameter. | |||||
| CVE-2021-23017 | 5 F5, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more | 13 Nginx, Fedora, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 10 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 7.7 HIGH |
| A security issue in nginx resolver was identified, which might allow an attacker who is able to forge UDP packets from the DNS server to cause 1-byte memory overwrite, resulting in worker process crash or potential other impact. | |||||
| CVE-2021-20305 | 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 2 more | 6 Debian Linux, Fedora, Active Iq Unified Manager and 3 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 8.1 HIGH |
| A flaw was found in Nettle in versions before 3.7.2, where several Nettle signature verification functions (GOST DSA, EDDSA & ECDSA) result in the Elliptic Curve Cryptography point (ECC) multiply function being called with out-of-range scalers, possibly resulting in incorrect results.
