There's a memory leak in yajl 2.1.0 with use of yajl_tree_parse function. which will cause out-of-memory in server and cause crash.
CVE-2023-33204 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Sysstat Project 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Sysstat 2023-11-07 N/A 7.8 HIGH
sysstat through 12.7.2 allows a multiplication integer overflow in check_overflow in common.c. NOTE: this issue exists because of an incomplete fix for CVE-2022-39377.
CVE-2023-29415 2 Bzip3 Project, Debian 2 Bzip3, Debian Linux 2023-11-07 N/A 6.5 MEDIUM
An issue was discovered in libbzip3.a in bzip3 before 1.3.0. A denial of service (process hang) can occur with a crafted archive because bzip3 does not follow the required procedure for interacting with libsais.
CVE-2023-28879 2 Artifex, Debian 2 Ghostscript, Debian Linux 2023-11-07 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
In Artifex Ghostscript through 10.01.0, there is a buffer overflow leading to potential corruption of data internal to the PostScript interpreter, in base/sbcp.c. This affects BCPEncode, BCPDecode, TBCPEncode, and TBCPDecode. If the write buffer is filled to one byte less than full, and one then tries to write an escaped character, two bytes are written.
CVE-2023-28686 3 Debian, Dino, Fedoraproject 3 Debian Linux, Dino, Fedora 2023-11-07 N/A 7.1 HIGH
Dino before 0.2.3, 0.3.x before 0.3.2, and 0.4.x before 0.4.2 allows attackers to modify the personal bookmark store via a crafted message. The attacker can change the display of group chats or force a victim to join a group chat; the victim may then be tricked into disclosing sensitive information.
CVE-2023-28321 5 Apple, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more 14 Macos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 11 more 2023-11-07 N/A 5.9 MEDIUM
An improper certificate validation vulnerability exists in curl <v8.1.0 in the way it supports matching of wildcard patterns when listed as "Subject Alternative Name" in TLS server certificates. curl can be built to use its own name matching function for TLS rather than one provided by a TLS library. This private wildcard matching function would match IDN (International Domain Name) hosts incorrectly and could as a result accept patterns that otherwise should mismatch. IDN hostnames are converted to puny code before used for certificate checks. Puny coded names always start with `xn--` and should not be allowed to pattern match, but the wildcard check in curl could still check for `x*`, which would match even though the IDN name most likely contained nothing even resembling an `x`.
CVE-2023-27561 3 Debian, Linuxfoundation, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Runc, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2023-11-07 N/A 7.0 HIGH
runc through 1.1.4 has Incorrect Access Control leading to Escalation of Privileges, related to libcontainer/rootfs_linux.go. To exploit this, an attacker must be able to spawn two containers with custom volume-mount configurations, and be able to run custom images. NOTE: this issue exists because of a CVE-2019-19921 regression.
CVE-2023-25725 2 Debian, Haproxy 2 Debian Linux, Haproxy 2023-11-07 N/A 9.1 CRITICAL
HAProxy before 2.7.3 may allow a bypass of access control because HTTP/1 headers are inadvertently lost in some situations, aka "request smuggling." The HTTP header parsers in HAProxy may accept empty header field names, which could be used to truncate the list of HTTP headers and thus make some headers disappear after being parsed and processed for HTTP/1.0 and HTTP/1.1. For HTTP/2 and HTTP/3, the impact is limited because the headers disappear before being parsed and processed, as if they had not been sent by the client. The fixed versions are 2.7.3, 2.6.9, 2.5.12, 2.4.22, 2.2.29, and 2.0.31.
CVE-2023-24580 2 Debian, Djangoproject 2 Debian Linux, Django 2023-11-07 N/A 7.5 HIGH
An issue was discovered in the Multipart Request Parser in Django 3.2 before 3.2.18, 4.0 before 4.0.10, and 4.1 before 4.1.7. Passing certain inputs (e.g., an excessive number of parts) to multipart forms could result in too many open files or memory exhaustion, and provided a potential vector for a denial-of-service attack.
CVE-2023-24038 2 Debian, Html-stripscripts Project 2 Debian Linux, Html-stripscripts 2023-11-07 N/A 7.5 HIGH
The HTML-StripScripts module through 1.06 for Perl allows _hss_attval_style ReDoS because of catastrophic backtracking for HTML content with certain style attributes.
CVE-2023-24021 2 Debian, Trustwave 2 Debian Linux, Modsecurity 2023-11-07 N/A 7.5 HIGH
Incorrect handling of '\0' bytes in file uploads in ModSecurity before 2.9.7 may allow for Web Application Firewall bypasses and buffer over-reads on the Web Application Firewall when executing rules that read the FILES_TMP_CONTENT collection.
CVE-2023-23969 2 Debian, Djangoproject 2 Debian Linux, Django 2023-11-07 N/A 7.5 HIGH
In Django 3.2 before 3.2.17, 4.0 before 4.0.9, and 4.1 before 4.1.6, the parsed values of Accept-Language headers are cached in order to avoid repetitive parsing. This leads to a potential denial-of-service vector via excessive memory usage if the raw value of Accept-Language headers is very large.
CVE-2023-23908 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Intel 275 Debian Linux, Fedora, Microcode and 272 more 2023-11-07 N/A 4.4 MEDIUM
Improper access control in some 3rd Generation Intel(R) Xeon(R) Scalable processors may allow a privileged user to potentially enable information disclosure via local access.
