| CVE | Vendors | Products | Updated | CVSS v2 | CVSS v3 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| CVE-2018-1303 | 4 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 1 more | 7 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 4 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| A specially crafted HTTP request header could have crashed the Apache HTTP Server prior to version 2.4.30 due to an out of bound read while preparing data to be cached in shared memory. It could be used as a Denial of Service attack against users of mod_cache_socache. The vulnerability is considered as low risk since mod_cache_socache is not widely used, mod_cache_disk is not concerned by this vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1302 | 3 Apache, Canonical, Netapp | 6 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Clustered Data Ontap and 3 more | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| When an HTTP/2 stream was destroyed after being handled, the Apache HTTP Server prior to version 2.4.30 could have written a NULL pointer potentially to an already freed memory. The memory pools maintained by the server make this vulnerability hard to trigger in usual configurations, the reporter and the team could not reproduce it outside debug builds, so it is classified as low risk. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1301 | 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 8 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 5 more | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.9 MEDIUM |
| A specially crafted request could have crashed the Apache HTTP Server prior to version 2.4.30, due to an out of bound access after a size limit is reached by reading the HTTP header. This vulnerability is considered very hard if not impossible to trigger in non-debug mode (both log and build level), so it is classified as low risk for common server usage. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1285 | 4 Apache, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more | 7 Log4net, Fedora, Manageability Software Development Kit and 4 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Apache log4net versions before 2.0.10 do not disable XML external entities when parsing log4net configuration files. This allows for XXE-based attacks in applications that accept attacker-controlled log4net configuration files. | |||||
| CVE-2018-1283 | 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 8 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 5 more | 2023-11-07 | 3.5 LOW | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| In Apache httpd 2.4.0 to 2.4.29, when mod_session is configured to forward its session data to CGI applications (SessionEnv on, not the default), a remote user may influence their content by using a "Session" header. This comes from the "HTTP_SESSION" variable name used by mod_session to forward its data to CGIs, since the prefix "HTTP_" is also used by the Apache HTTP Server to pass HTTP header fields, per CGI specifications. | |||||
| CVE-2018-19932 | 2 Gnu, Netapp | 3 Binutils, Cluster Data Ontap, Vasa Provider | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils through 2.31. There is an integer overflow and infinite loop caused by the IS_CONTAINED_BY_LMA macro in elf.c. | |||||
| CVE-2018-19931 | 3 Canonical, Gnu, Netapp | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Binutils, Vasa Provider | 2023-11-07 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils through 2.31. There is a heap-based buffer overflow in bfd_elf32_swap_phdr_in in elfcode.h because the number of program headers is not restricted. | |||||
| CVE-2018-18607 | 3 Debian, Gnu, Netapp | 3 Debian Linux, Binutils, Data Ontap | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in elf_link_input_bfd in elflink.c in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.31. There is a NULL pointer dereference in elf_link_input_bfd when used for finding STT_TLS symbols without any TLS section. A specially crafted ELF allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, as demonstrated by ld. | |||||
| CVE-2018-18606 | 3 Debian, Gnu, Netapp | 3 Debian Linux, Binutils, Data Ontap | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in the merge_strings function in merge.c in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.31. There is a NULL pointer dereference in _bfd_add_merge_section when attempting to merge sections with large alignments. A specially crafted ELF allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, as demonstrated by ld. | |||||
| CVE-2018-18605 | 3 Debian, Gnu, Netapp | 3 Debian Linux, Binutils, Data Ontap | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| A heap-based buffer over-read issue was discovered in the function sec_merge_hash_lookup in merge.c in the Binary File Descriptor (BFD) library (aka libbfd), as distributed in GNU Binutils 2.31, because _bfd_add_merge_section mishandles section merges when size is not a multiple of entsize. A specially crafted ELF allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service, as demonstrated by ld. | |||||
| CVE-2018-18314 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 2 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, E-series Santricity Os Controller and 5 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Perl before 5.26.3 has a buffer overflow via a crafted regular expression that triggers invalid write operations. | |||||
| CVE-2018-18313 | 6 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 3 more | 9 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 6 more | 2023-11-07 | 6.4 MEDIUM | 9.1 CRITICAL |
| Perl before 5.26.3 has a buffer over-read via a crafted regular expression that triggers disclosure of sensitive information from process memory. | |||||
| CVE-2018-18312 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Netapp and 2 more | 8 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, E-series Santricity Os Controller and 5 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |

| CVE-2018-18311 | 8 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 5 more | 18 Mac Os X, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 15 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| Perl before 5.26.3 and 5.28.x before 5.28.1 has a buffer overflow via a crafted regular expression that triggers invalid write operations. | |||||
| CVE-2018-17199 | 5 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 2 more | 6 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 3 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| In Apache HTTP Server 2.4 release 2.4.37 and prior, mod_session checks the session expiry time before decoding the session. This causes session expiry time to be ignored for mod_session_cookie sessions since the expiry time is loaded when the session is decoded. | |||||
| CVE-2018-17189 | 7 Apache, Canonical, Debian and 4 more | 13 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux and 10 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| In Apache HTTP server versions 2.4.37 and prior, by sending request bodies in a slow loris way to plain resources, the h2 stream for that request unnecessarily occupied a server thread cleaning up that incoming data. This affects only HTTP/2 (mod_http2) connections. | |||||
| CVE-2018-16890 | 8 Canonical, Debian, F5 and 5 more | 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Big-ip Access Policy Manager and 7 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| libcurl versions from 7.36.0 to before 7.64.0 is vulnerable to a heap buffer out-of-bounds read. The function handling incoming NTLM type-2 messages (`lib/vauth/ntlm.c:ntlm_decode_type2_target`) does not validate incoming data correctly and is subject to an integer overflow vulnerability. Using that overflow, a malicious or broken NTLM server could trick libcurl to accept a bad length + offset combination that would lead to a buffer read out-of-bounds. | |||||
| CVE-2018-16888 | 4 Canonical, Netapp, Redhat and 1 more | 5 Ubuntu Linux, Active Iq Performance Analytics Services, Element Software and 2 more | 2023-11-07 | 1.9 LOW | 4.7 MEDIUM |
| It was discovered systemd does not correctly check the content of PIDFile files before using it to kill processes. When a service is run from an unprivileged user (e.g. User field set in the service file), a local attacker who is able to write to the PIDFile of the mentioned service may use this flaw to trick systemd into killing other services and/or privileged processes. Versions before v237 are vulnerable. | |||||
| CVE-2018-14719 | 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more | 21 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Oncommand Workflow Automation and 18 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.7 might allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by leveraging failure to block the blaze-ds-opt and blaze-ds-core classes from polymorphic deserialization. | |||||
| CVE-2018-14718 | 5 Debian, Fasterxml, Netapp and 2 more | 26 Debian Linux, Jackson-databind, Oncommand Workflow Automation and 23 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| FasterXML jackson-databind 2.x before 2.9.7 might allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by leveraging failure to block the slf4j-ext class from polymorphic deserialization. | |||||
