| CVE-2021-28694 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Xen | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Xen | 2023-11-07 | 4.6 MEDIUM | 6.8 MEDIUM |
| IOMMU page mapping issues on x86 T[his CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] Both AMD and Intel allow ACPI tables to specify regions of memory which should be left untranslated, which typically means these addresses should pass the translation phase unaltered. While these are typically device specific ACPI properties, they can also be specified to apply to a range of devices, or even all devices. On all systems with such regions Xen failed to prevent guests from undoing/replacing such mappings (CVE-2021-28694). On AMD systems, where a discontinuous range is specified by firmware, the supposedly-excluded middle range will also be identity-mapped (CVE-2021-28695). Further, on AMD systems, upon de-assigment of a physical device from a guest, the identity mappings would be left in place, allowing a guest continued access to ranges of memory which it shouldn't have access to anymore (CVE-2021-28696). | |||||
| CVE-2021-28662 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Squid-cache | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Squid | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 6.5 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in Squid 4.x before 4.15 and 5.x before 5.0.6. If a remote server sends a certain response header over HTTP or HTTPS, there is a denial of service. This header can plausibly occur in benign network traffic. | |||||
| CVE-2021-28658 | 3 Debian, Djangoproject, Fedoraproject | 3 Debian Linux, Django, Fedora | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| In Django 2.2 before 2.2.20, 3.0 before 3.0.14, and 3.1 before 3.1.8, MultiPartParser allowed directory traversal via uploaded files with suitably crafted file names. Built-in upload handlers were not affected by this vulnerability. | |||||
| CVE-2021-28652 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Squid-cache | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Squid | 2023-11-07 | 4.0 MEDIUM | 4.9 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in Squid before 4.15 and 5.x before 5.0.6. Due to incorrect parser validation, it allows a Denial of Service attack against the Cache Manager API. This allows a trusted client to trigger memory leaks that. over time, lead to a Denial of Service via an unspecified short query string. This attack is limited to clients with Cache Manager API access privilege. | |||||
| CVE-2021-28651 | 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more | 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Cloud Manager and 1 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in Squid before 4.15 and 5.x before 5.0.6. Due to a buffer-management bug, it allows a denial of service. When resolving a request with the urn: scheme, the parser leaks a small amount of memory. However, there is an unspecified attack methodology that can easily trigger a large amount of memory consumption. | |||||
| CVE-2021-28169 | 4 Debian, Eclipse, Netapp and 1 more | 8 Debian Linux, Jetty, Active Iq Unified Manager and 5 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| For Eclipse Jetty versions <= 9.4.40, <= 10.0.2, <= 11.0.2, it is possible for requests to the ConcatServlet with a doubly encoded path to access protected resources within the WEB-INF directory. For example a request to `/concat?/%2557EB-INF/web.xml` can retrieve the web.xml file. This can reveal sensitive information regarding the implementation of a web application. | |||||
| CVE-2021-28153 | 4 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 4 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux, Fedora and 1 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.8. When g_file_replace() is used with G_FILE_CREATE_REPLACE_DESTINATION to replace a path that is a dangling symlink, it incorrectly also creates the target of the symlink as an empty file, which could conceivably have security relevance if the symlink is attacker-controlled. (If the path is a symlink to a file that already exists, then the contents of that file correctly remain unchanged.) | |||||
| CVE-2021-28116 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Squid-cache | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Squid | 2023-11-07 | 4.3 MEDIUM | 5.3 MEDIUM |
| Squid through 4.14 and 5.x through 5.0.5, in some configurations, allows information disclosure because of an out-of-bounds read in WCCP protocol data. This can be leveraged as part of a chain for remote code execution as nobody. | |||||
| CVE-2021-28091 | 3 Debian, Entrouvert, Fedoraproject | 3 Debian Linux, Lasso, Fedora | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| Lasso all versions prior to 2.7.0 has improper verification of a cryptographic signature. | |||||
| CVE-2021-28021 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Stb Project | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Stb | 2023-11-07 | 6.8 MEDIUM | 7.8 HIGH |
| Buffer overflow vulnerability in function stbi__extend_receive in stb_image.h in stb 2.26 via a crafted JPEG file. | |||||
| CVE-2021-27803 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, W1.fi | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Wpa Supplicant | 2023-11-07 | 5.4 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| A vulnerability was discovered in how p2p/p2p_pd.c in wpa_supplicant before 2.10 processes P2P (Wi-Fi Direct) provision discovery requests. It could result in denial of service or other impact (potentially execution of arbitrary code), for an attacker within radio range. | |||||
| CVE-2021-27645 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Glibc | 2023-11-07 | 1.9 LOW | 2.5 LOW |
| The nameserver caching daemon (nscd) in the GNU C Library (aka glibc or libc6) 2.29 through 2.33, when processing a request for netgroup lookup, may crash due to a double-free, potentially resulting in degraded service or Denial of Service on the local system. This is related to netgroupcache.c. | |||||
| CVE-2021-27291 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Pygments | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Pygments | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| In pygments 1.1+, fixed in 2.7.4, the lexers used to parse programming languages rely heavily on regular expressions. Some of the regular expressions have exponential or cubic worst-case complexity and are vulnerable to ReDoS. By crafting malicious input, an attacker can cause a denial of service. | |||||
| CVE-2021-27219 | 5 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 7 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux, Fedora and 4 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.6 and 2.67.x before 2.67.3. The function g_bytes_new has an integer overflow on 64-bit platforms due to an implicit cast from 64 bits to 32 bits. The overflow could potentially lead to memory corruption. | |||||
| CVE-2021-27218 | 5 Broadcom, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 7 Brocade Fabric Operating System Firmware, Debian Linux, Fedora and 4 more | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| An issue was discovered in GNOME GLib before 2.66.7 and 2.67.x before 2.67.4. If g_byte_array_new_take() was called with a buffer of 4GB or more on a 64-bit platform, the length would be truncated modulo 2**32, causing unintended length truncation. | |||||
| CVE-2021-27212 | 2 Debian, Openldap | 2 Debian Linux, Openldap | 2023-11-07 | 5.0 MEDIUM | 7.5 HIGH |
| In OpenLDAP through 2.4.57 and 2.5.x through 2.5.1alpha, an assertion failure in slapd can occur in the issuerAndThisUpdateCheck function via a crafted packet, resulting in a denial of service (daemon exit) via a short timestamp. This is related to schema_init.c and checkTime. | |||||
| CVE-2021-27135 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Invisible-island | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Xterm | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| xterm before Patch #366 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (segmentation fault) via a crafted UTF-8 combining character sequence. | |||||
| CVE-2021-26937 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Gnu | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Screen | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| encoding.c in GNU Screen through 4.8.0 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (invalid write access and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted UTF-8 character sequence. | |||||
| CVE-2021-26933 | 3 Debian, Fedoraproject, Xen | 3 Debian Linux, Fedora, Xen | 2023-11-07 | 2.1 LOW | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| An issue was discovered in Xen 4.9 through 4.14.x. On Arm, a guest is allowed to control whether memory accesses are bypassing the cache. This means that Xen needs to ensure that all writes (such as the ones during scrubbing) have reached the memory before handing over the page to a guest. Unfortunately, the operation to clean the cache is happening before checking if the page was scrubbed. Therefore there is no guarantee when all the writes will reach the memory. | |||||
| CVE-2021-26691 | 5 Apache, Debian, Fedoraproject and 2 more | 8 Http Server, Debian Linux, Fedora and 5 more | 2023-11-07 | 7.5 HIGH | 9.8 CRITICAL |
| In Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.0 to 2.4.46 a specially crafted SessionHeader sent by an origin server could cause a heap overflow | |||||
